Tesla

Tesla is a true beauty and gets compliments everywhere she goes! Her proud parent is a man named Eric who was injured in a motorcycle accident and has struggled with his mobility since then. He’s made great strides in his recovery, but still relies on a walker when he leaves the house. Trying to manage a walker and his 75lb dog-ter was proving to be too difficult and he needed a solution.  He reached out to Transitions Pet Care and our team of volunteers has been providing walks and supportive services for Tesla for the last year and a half. 

We are committed to ensuring Eric and Tesla stay together. In addition to her weekly walks, we’ve helped him find her when she went on her own adventure and even had to bail her out of doggy jail. Eric has had his own challenges with housing and when he lost his home and moved into an extended stay hotel, our team continued to provide services. Despite everything that Eric has gone through over the last year and a half, Tesla has been his constant companion and thanks to the generous donation from Second Life, we’re able to continue to support Tesla including providing vet care and monthly preventative to keep her healthy and happy.
